Job Summary: Advoco Solutions is looking for a Business Analyst/Solutions consultant to join our team and work with customers to ensure the solutions we create achieve the set business objectives. Job Description:

You will be working with potential and existing customers to help them understand how they can improve their business with software and technology. Day-to-day your main duties will be:

 

  • Speaking with customer /prospects to understand their requirements and to document as appropriate
  • Building actual or visual pro-types of potential solutions to help verify the requirements noted are correct.
  • Helping create and document solutions in proposals/quotes with support as required
  • Working with customers to generate specification/implementation documents for both client approval and development use.
  • Liaising between the customer and development to help ensure the work done is accurate, on time and accepted by the client.
  • Work with active clients to identify and discuss opportunity to improve their use of the software they have ……. or solutions they could have.
  • Participate in the continued improvement and implementation of new technologies appropriate for our client base.
  • Helping with basic use issues for supported customers.

 

The role will be principally office based in our Silchester office with the expectation of some travel to attend necessary meetings or events.

 

You will be supported by the appropriate Director to help ensure the maximum chance of success.  We will provide training to allow you to be self-sufficient both for product information and personal skills.

Key Skills:

  • It is a MUST that you have a proven track record in some form of Business Analyst or Software consultancy role
  • Ideally some experience of Business Development of CRM or software that help improves business processes/efficiency.

    Job Summary: Advoco Solutions are looking for a Technical Operations Manager to lead and continuously improve the day-to-day technical operations of our Managed Service Provider. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery, efficient operational processes, and the development of a high-performing technical team.

    Job Description:

    The Technical Operation Manager will act as the link between service delivery, engineering, and leadership—owning operational performance, managing escalations, and driving improvements across systems, processes, and people. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent organisational and people-management skills.

     

    Key responsibilities include:

     

    • Overseeing service delivery and operational performance against SLAs and KPIs
    • Leading, mentoring, and developing the technical teams
    • Managing escalations, major incidents, and root-cause analysis
    • Improving tools, processes, documentation, and standards across the business
    • Working closely with leadership, clients, and partners to support growth and service excellence

    This role is ideal for an experienced MSP professional looking to take ownership of technical operations and make a measurable impact.

    Key Skills:

    • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a technical leadership or operations role within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or similar IT services environment
    • Strong technical background across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking (LAN/WAN/firewalls), backup, security, and endpoint management
    • Demonstrable experience managing and improving service delivery against SLAs, KPIs, and customer satisfaction targets
    • Hands-on experience with ITIL-based service management practices (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Asset)
    • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop technical teams (service desk, engineers, escalations) including performance management and skills planning
    • Experience owning and optimising operational processes, workflows, and documentation to drive efficiency and consistency
    • Strong capability in managing escalations, root cause analysis, and preventing recurring service issues
    • Experience with MSP tools such as RMM, PSA, ticketing systems, M365 admin portals, and security platforms
    • Solid understanding of cyber security frameworks and standards (e.g. Cyber Essentials, CIS controls, NIST) and risk management
    • Ability to translate technical issues into clear, business-focused communication for clients and senior stakeholders
    • Proven experience working with vendors, suppliers, and third?party partners, including contract and performance management
    • Financial and commercial awareness, including resource utilisation, cost control, and supporting service profitability
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple workloads in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer-centric approach
    • Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA, vendors) desirable though practical experience is essential
