Confused by all the options in Office 365?

Confused by all the options in Office 365? Skype, Yammer, Teams, SharePoint…

Give people too many tools to use and they’ll use them all improperly or not at all.

As Cloud platforms have evolved, so has the range of features and tools available to users. As much as they may make many of our lives easier, they can also bring a lot of confusion & disorder between employees.

Rather than letting ‘shadow IT’ creep into your business by team members going off and finding their own familiar, often consumer-style products, give them the strategy & training on the right tools that best-fit the needs of the business.

Let’s take an overview of Microsoft Teams

As one of the latest features to join the growing pool of communication & collaboration resources within Microsoft Office 365; Team’s is Microsoft’s single-platform answer to a multitude of business operational needs.

Operating from a single ‘pane of glass’, users can access instant messaging, file sharing, calendars, video conferencing, intranet-style information wikis and notes all within the one desktop application or online app. Gone are the days of clicking between multiple applications, losing track of where files are saved or having to trawl through a mountain of emails to find a bit of information.

A quite surprising, but totally understandable, statistic is showing Teams to be already outstripping all previous Microsoft products to be their fastest growing platform yet! The simplicity combined with an all-encompassing approach, has captured the crowds looking for a 365-linked alternative to the likes of Slack.

Teams is available on the majority of Office 365 subscriptions at no extra cost. Most of the core features are available as standard, however some features such as the embedded phone system can carry additional fees.

Lost among a multitude of tools and resources?

If you are swimming in a sea of far too many options and are considering consolidating, Teams might well be the best answer.
